Eric Nelson entered the construction industry in 1985. Working in the fields of carpentry and masonry, he learned the skills of rough framing, finish carpentry, and the forming and pouring of concrete. He spent the next 15 years working on over 1200 homes and businesses, 3 bridges, a marina, and a mile long boardwalk.

Eric became a carpentry contractor and founded his first company, Nelson Carpentry Inc, in 2000. His high quality craftsmanship and do it right the first time attitude quickly earned him an excellent reputation in the industry. These same values became the foundation for JE Nelson Construction, when Eric became a building contractor in 2007. Since then we’ve striven to build solid, long lasting relationships with sub-contractors that share our passion for excellence. We demand the highest quality from our trade partners and encourage a sense of teamwork in all of our projects.
